There are a lot of reasons why people might not be able to make it to St.James’ Park; work, lack of money, can’t get off their seat in the pub, live on the other side of the world and so on.

The thing is though, if you CHOOSE not to go to the match then you are always at risk of Saturday happening.

If you weren’t there against Blackburn I would argue that you missed one of the, if not THE, best goal ever scored at St.James’ Park .

Alan Pardew takes up the story:

“It’s the greatest goal, in my opinion, I have ever seen with my eyes because just the technical part of it – to beat six players, to skip past people, left foot, right foot, cutback, accelerate, everything that was involved in it – it was an unbelievable goal. I am absolutely chuffed for him”.

Ben Arfa ‘s run and finish was mind blowing, like Messi at his best but not quite the surrounding cast around him.

Then even out of the thirty thousand who turned up, we again saw loads of numpties head for the exits as the game ground to a 1-1 draw….only for them to miss a top class goal and exquisite winner from Jonas.

You have to laugh!
