When interviewing players for the first time you are never quite sure what to expect.
The big names are sometimes big on talking as well and come across very well, other times they don’t make for a ‘big interview’.
Likewise, it can work in reverse with less glamorous players who often will have interesting stuff to share.
As well as players and manager we also talk to a whole host of other people and often carry an interview with a journalist who covers the Toon.
This issue we spoke to Neil Farrington who had been covering Newcastle for ten years at this point. With journalists they obviously have far more freedom to talk than players and at this point there was civil war at St.James’ Park with Graeme Souness going to war with Craig Bellamy.
