Newcastle United’s Ben Arfa Now Officially On French Shortlist For Euros

The French coach Laurent Blanc has sent out a very positive message to Hatem Ben Arfa when speaking to French TV’s ‘Telefoot’.

Blanc has described Ben Arfa as ‘callable’ and no he hasn’t just found Hatem’s phone number!

Laurent Blanc:

“I haven’t just waited for the last few performances to follow Hatem.

We know he is a very talented boy. He has become callable again.

His coach (Alan Pardew) is very nice saying Laurent Blanc should call him for the Euros, but he hasn’t always played him since the start of the season. He waited a long time to play him again”.

We’ll overlook the lack of gratitude Blanc is failing to show for the job Alan Pardew has done on his mercurial but tricky to get right French genius.

I can only think that as well as deserving a place in France’s squad for this summer’s tournament, it can only be a massive boost for both the player and everybody else associated with Newcastle United if he does make it to the Ukraine/Poland.

It will undoubtedly help continue Ben Arfa’s upward trajectory as well as sending out the message to other potential Newcastle targets, signing for our club can help them fulfil both club and international ambitions.

Fingers crossed we’ll have Hatem Ben Arfa to help light up our summer.

Plus of course Blanc’s comments could juts make that extra minute difference next Sunday, a wonder strike/performance to put Ben Arfa and Newcastle United into the Champions League as well the player into the Euros.

lets not overlook the lack of gratitude, Pardew has done supreb job of man managing Ben Arfa, France should be grateful to have such a player back.
