Shola Ameobi or Adam Armstrong – Discuss

One of my match going mates is a believer in conspiracy theories and for weeks he has been telling us that Manchester City are going to win the league; referees, linesman and 4th officials have been primed so that crucial and critical decisions go their way!

We laugh this off most of the time, however the Cheick Tiote disallowed goal recently did sort of lend credence to his theory, Joe Hart can clearly be seen mouthing the words “hey liner, you’re forgetting the rules, we are going to win the league by hook or by crook”, obviously we know what followed.

That’s how we all feel watching you yesterday.

Yesterday, watching Man City v Southampton it was obvious in the first half that the better team were in fact Southampton, until the second goal, this second goal where David Silva was no less that 3 yards offside, this prompted a bit of anger from me, these teams don’t need a hand as they are good enough, yet it seems decisions always go their way, and while I should not have any real interest it set the mood for the day!

Is there really a conspiracy to let Man City win the league? I doubt it but they sure do get more benefits than most.

That in itself was enough to vent my spleen, however Pardew and Carver between them boiled my pi** twice yesterday!

Taking my seat at exactly 3pm it was clear these two idiots had again left HBA out again, our one remaining creative player and potential match winner is again sat for an hour keeping the bench warm, no wonder he is pi**ed off seeing a first eleven flounder about while he can’t get a game, totally ridiculous!

Then forgetting the fact Man Utd totally outplayed us and were leading 3-0, with 8 minutes to go they chose to replace the now totally useless Gouffran with the lumbering oaf of a former footballer, Shola Ameobi!

This was unbelievable, we have a game that can’t be won, what was the point of bringing him on to lumber about for a few minutes? Answers on a postcard please

Just can anyone explain that ludicrous decision, what the f*** is in the head of those two fools?

One bright spark this season has been the form of young Adam Armstrong in the under 18s/21s; he is sharp, full of enthusiasm, and desperate to get on the pitch, oh yeah, he knows where the goal is as well!

The lumbering oaf Ameobi was not going to save the game, and neither was Adam Armstrong, but surely a few minutes pitch time for him, harassing and chasing lost causes with boundless energy and enthusiasm would have been better than bringing on Ameobi to stand on the halfway line, no wonder the crowd showed its displeasure!

This season has seen us drift into mid-table mediocrity, despite the early promise, we are not going down, we are going to finish 9th or 10th, why not give a couple of youngsters a chance?

I’m off to Stoke next week to no doubt see another defeat topped up with pitiful and pathetic excuses from Pardew!

Watch this space to see who or where next week’s anger is pointed at!
