‘On Saturday We Could See Both Sets Of Supporters Chant Steve Bruce’s Name’…Hmmm

Both sets of fans chanting Steve Bruce’s name on Saturday…maybe not.

A lot of things could and will probably happen but it will be a dark day in hell before Newcastle fans sing Geordie fraud Steve Bruce’s name at the match.

The idea that this could be a possibility has arisen from Humberside, where their local paper featured a preview of the match.

Always interesting to hear how others perceive you but this Hull Daily Mail journalist believes the following;

‘The Toon army aren’t known for their patience and the start of the game could be very tricky for them.

If he could choose, I’m sure Pardew would love to play all his games away from home which would ease the pressure on him, just a little bit.

We saw the banners were out last weekend, during the 4-0 battering at Southampton, calling Pardew a muppet, which is an insult to Kermit and his friends.

Another subplot is Hull City boss Steve Bruce.

The Geordie has been linked with the Newcastle job if Pardew does get fired….It must be difficult for him with fans calling for him to be sacked.

Newcastle fans see themselves as being the best in the country and they like to be entertained.

It’s a long way from the days when Freddy Shepherd ran the club and they were chasing the Champions League.

It’s hard to see how they are going to get out of the mess they find themselves in, but that’s their problem.

Saturday, we could see both sets of supporters chant Bruce’s name throughout the 90 minutes.

I’m sure Bruce will handle the situation with the class he normally does.’

Well yes I have to agree we like to be entertained but it isn’t a crime is it! Plus I do have to agree it is hard to see how NUFC are going to get out of this mess.

I do have to smile though at the parting shot of Steve Bruce handling the situation ‘with the class he normally does’, a comedy classic!
