What Each Premier League Club Earned From TV/League Placings

The latest earnings for Premier League clubs from the season just ended make interesting reading.

On the final day, Stoke winning at West Brom and Newcastle’s capitulation at Anfield, meant the Potters leapfrogged the Magpies, costing Mike Ashley £1.2m as United slipped a league placing.

The Mail have put together the following table of predicted earnings based on the latest TV deal and even though Liverpool finished second in the Premier League, when it came to earnings they came out top because of the number of times on TV.

Newcastle ended up in a mid-table run of the mill position in terms of both league placings and earnings.

Their estimated £78.8m in the same ball park as the likes of Stoke, Palace, Southampton and a host of other clubs.

With commercial and matchday revenue so feeble under Mike Ashley, just how on earth will Newcastle progress when every other club gets more or less the same money, or significantly more in Everton and Spurs’ cases?
