Papiss Cisse says he’s saved THAT Leicester goal for Tottenham
Papiss Cisse has admitted that his astonishing miss against Leicester could have been very costly, but he thinks maybe he has saved it for this weekend.
The striker has a knack of scoring any number of spectacular goals but also is prone to miss easy chances (watch that Leicester miss HERE), as well as picking the wrong option, pus the occasional offside.
Luckily Obertan came up with his first ever Premier League goal at St.James’ Park in over three years at Newcastle, but that simply underlines how weak United’s attacking options are at the minute.
As welcome as Obertan’s winner was, United have no obvious goalscoring alternative if Cisse is having one of his ‘picking the wrong option’ days.
Speaking to the official club website – The need to score more;
“I need to keep going and do my best this season.
“I’m a striker and I need to score more goals for this team, I try my best all the time.”
Saving that chance;
“It (Leicester) was very good but I had that chance, I needed to score that one but maybe I have saved it for this week…
“The team did well and worked hard, they need to keep on going and get points quickly.
“Last season’s win at Spurs gives us confidence but you never know in the Premier League, all the games are hard.”
