Newcastle Winger Due Back Ahead Of Schedule

After making a scoring debut for England Under 20s on September 5th, Rolando Aarons returned to Tyneside with a hamstring injury.

A decent performance at Gillingham in the League Cup and a starring substitute appearance against Palace in the Premier League, Aarons had given everybody a lift before injury struck.

However, the Chronicle are reporting that the winger could return ahead of schedule against Liverpool on Saturday 1st November.

Hopefully the temptation to throw Aarons in before he is fully ready will be resisted, no matter how desperate the situation.

After the visit of Leicester this Saturday, there then follows three games in a week against Spurs, Manchester City (Cup) and Liverpool, with the potential for things to get really messy.

Throwing in a kid who hasn’t even yet started a Premier League match, especially one who isn’t fully fit, is a recipe for disaster.

Rolando Aarons, along with Adam Armstrong, is one of the few real potential positives at Newcastle United at the minute. Whatever the dire nature of Newcastle United at the moment, these possible jewels of the future need protecting.
