Newcastle Duo Both Start For France v Switzerland

It is France v Switzerland tonight with a distinct Newcastle flavour.

After defeating Honduras 3-0 in their opening match, a win against the Swiss would basically all but guarantee the French progress to the knockout stages.

In the starting line-ups just announced, Didier Deschamps includes Mathieu Debuchy, Yohan Cabaye and Moussa Sissoko in his starting eleven.

Sissoko and Arsenal’s Giroud coming in for Pogba and Griezmann.

Yohan Cabaye has recovered sufficiently from his groin problem to start in the heart of the midfield.

Loic Remy of course is on the bench, the former on-loan Newcastle striker waiting for his chance.

After England’s dismal departure on the back end of two defeats and then waiting on a Costa Rica result, watching France might be a little bit easier on the eye with Sissoko and Debuchy in the team.
