Latest Injury News Another Setback For Newcastle United

The latest injury news at St.James’ Park sees reports this morning saying that Rolando Aarons’ injury is worse than first thought.

Initially it was claimed that Aarons would be out for a week or two but now there are claims that it will be November at the earliest when the eighteen year old could be back from his hamstring injury.

United’s total lack of creativity yet again on Saturday, was yet another reminder of what a breath of fresh air the youngster had provided when he lit up a similarly clueless performance with his late cameo against Crystal Palace. Turning certain defeat into what should have been a dramatic late win, if he hadn’t been let down by his teammates.

Alan Pardew was out of order in my opinion on the eve of the trip to Southampton when he made such a big deal about two massive injury blows hitting his plans.

Fair enough to talk about that in relation to summer signing Siem De Jong but it is putting totally unnecessary pressure on Rolando Aarons to talk of him in that light, considering he hasn’t even started a single Premier League match as yet, the manager not even putting him on the subs bench at Villa – preferring Gabriel Obertan ahead of him.

For the fans though, this latest injury news on Aarons is a sever blow because what he has done is given the supporters hope of a bit of flair in the team, especially with new boy Remy Cabella quickly sinking under the pressure of being expected to provide the team’s entire creativity, as the rest of his teammates pass the buck.
