John Carver tells Mike Ashley there’s no way he can sell Moussa Sissoko…

John Carver has told Mike Ashley and Lee Charnley that there is no way they can sell Moussa Sissoko.

This week has brought Sissoko’s latest in a line of interviews in France, where he has said he is desperate for a move to a ‘big’ club and to get Champions League football BUT he’s happy at Newcastle…

A number of media outlets, including the Mail and Star, published the same story in quick succession which suggests they have been fed the line by somebody.

The newspapers reporting that John Carver has told them that if they lose Moussa Sissoko this month then it will end any hopes of a major recovery in the remaining sixteen matches.

You may feel you have heard this all before and Alan Pardew saying the same about the likes of Andy Carroll and Yohan Cabaye before they were sold.

While Alan Pardew appeared to have zero say/power when it came to players being sold from under him, if it is possible to have less than zero say then most supporters will feel that this is what replacement John Carver has got.

If a suitable bid comes in then Mike Ashley will sell Moussa Sissoko, wrecking the rest of the season and what John Carver thinks are immaterial.
