Alan Pardew gives insight on his Tottenham tactics at press conference
At his pre-Tottenham press conference, Alan Pardew has insisted that Newcastle United have to try and attack Spurs and get a win.
Whatever happens during the match, sadly I can’t see Pardew setting his team out to attack Tottenham, which I think is by far Newcastle’s best chance of getting something.
The North London side have looked fragile at times but if United sit back and invite them on then I can only see one outcome..;
“We went to Spurs last season and put in a fantastic performance and we will go back there with good memories.”
Well that would be ‘A good memory’, the previous four visits read 1-2, 0-5, 0-2, 0-1.
Offer a threat;
“We go to Spurs and have to be disciplined and offer a threat, it is about trying to attack the game and get a win.
“I can feel a little bit more confidence in and around the camp but we have to improve results, full stop, going forward.”
Have to say as well
Happier news – return after two years;
“Ryan Taylor should return this week, It is an inspirational story and I’m so pleased to put his name on the sheet to travel.”
