Alan Pardew “All Of Those People Can Cry In Their Beer Tonight”

After victory and survival were ensured at Loftus Road today, Alan Pardew relished getting in front of the cameras and the chance to talk about something that had obviously affected him in recent weeks.

The accusations of splits in the dressing room had been vehemently denied and the journalist & newspaper who carried the story banned by Newcastle United.

The manager was in an unforgiving mood still after the match today when he spoke to the club’s TV channel;

“All that silly talk about rifts and that, all of those people can cry in their beer tonight because you can’t put in a performance like that, you can’t draw at West Brom, you can’t draw at West Ham and win here, if you have all that going on.”

When the journalist in question for the story tried to claim that he’d done the story out of some sense of duty to Newcastle United, that is when I really knew that it was total boll…rubbish.

Yes there clearly have been problems at St.James’ Park but publishing such a story when Newcastle are fighting relegation, was only ever going to do harm to the chances of staying up.
