Debuchy Goes Missing As Fans Pick Their Newcastle Starting 11 vs Swansea

We asked you for your Newcastle starting 11 vs Swansea and we just scraped 11 players who half of you, or more, wanted in the team today.

We had better start off with an apology though as somehow we totally forgot Mathieu Debuchy and we aren’t that shameless to claim it was because he hasn’t played for seven weeks.

Whether the right-back ends up playing we’ll shortly find out but according to Alan Pardew he (and Remy) are contenders this weekend for hopefully at least a place on the bench, although to be honest that is what we were kind of led to believe last week as well before Stoke.

Anyway, the ultra consistent and committed Cheick Tiote comes out top and if Debuchy had been an option then he undoubtedly would have been in the fans’ starting 11, with Mapou likely to be the one losing out.

Maybe the most interesting debate is surrounding Adam Arnstrong and Shola.

Somehow a number of journalists and player rating systems made [intlink id=”41766″ type=”post”]Shola Newcastle\’s man of the match at Stoke[/intlink], while on the other hand more of you would rather even Obertan played instead of Ameobi.

On the other hand more than half of you (52%) want to see Adam Armstrong given his chance, with Remy AND Cisse also in the eleven highest rated players by the fans.

Wouldn’t mind seeing that forward line today compared to the recent rubbish we’ve watched!
