Newcastle United fixtures set for more Live TV changes and possible postponement due to FA Cup
Important Newcastle United fixtures coming up in the next week.
The Magpies taking on relegation rivals Huddersfield and Burnley in key games at home on Saturday and Tuesday.
By the end of this week almost the entire list of Newcastle United fixtures should be complete in terms of knowing when games are.
On Friday it is the date when the next announcement is due for Live TV match changes.
At the moment we know about up to and including 1 April, when Newcastle travel to Arsenal.
This Friday sees the rest of April set to be announced, home games against Crystal Palace and Southampton at risk, as well as away games at Leicester and Brighton (full list of fixtures as they currently stand, listed below).
With games on the final day of the season all kicking off at 3pm on Sunday 12 May, even if that game ends up being selected for Live TV, the date/time wouldn’t change.
So after this Friday we would only be waiting for the Liverpool home match (currently 4 May), with a decision on that expected on 5 April. However, it would appear to need a remarkable change of circumstances for that game not to be selected for live TV.
The only other possible change is if Palace beat Watford in their FA Cup quarter-final, the semis are due to be played around the weekend of Saturday 6 April, which is when we are due to play Palace. So that game could need to be rearranged.
