This national newspaper comes up with some quite incredible ratings for Newcastle players after beating Manchester City

Player ratings are always a big discussion point.

No two fans ever see things exactly the same after any match.

There always disagreements and different points of view, with previously held views on the Newcastle players also coming into play.

Even if subconsciously, you will at times add/subtract the odd mark for a player, depending on your overall view of whether they are decent quality generally, or not.

However, whilst there is the odd mark up and down that we might disagree with each other about, Newcastle fans will be united by the laughable marks given by one national newspaper after Newcastle 2 Manchester City 1.

The Mirror is consistently poor these days but these marks given to Newcastle players after beating Manchester City are very special:

I’m not sure if it is the 5 given to Sean Longstaff or the 5 given to Matt Ritchie that should get the ‘top’ accolade.

Compare these ratings for Newcastle players with the ones one of The Mag writers gave here.
