Kenedy should never play ever again for Newcastle United after that – Send him straight back to Chelsea

I find it really surprising that after checking, I found that Kenedy has actually played in 18 of Newcastle’s 23 Premier League games this season.

The Brazilian starting 14 Premier League matches this campaign and coming off the bench in another four.

I honestly can’t really remember him in many/any games.

He played well for 45 minutes and scored in the 3-2 defeat at Old Trafford, plus put in the cross for Rondon’s winner against Bournemouth, but apart from that I don’t think I can remember any other positive contribution this season.

When I turned up at St James Park just after kick-off this afternoon and saw Kenedy, I just started laughing.

The plan appeared to be that if Newcastle were to score a goal it would be due to an attacking trio of Joselu, Murphy and Kenedy.

Honestly, it was like the Wizard Of Oz.

You had the player without a brain (Joselu), the one without courage/confidence (Murphy), then of course Kenedy with no heart.

It was embarrassing.

Kenedy wanted to be anywhere else but on the pitch today.

It is incredible that only six months ago, most Newcastle fans would have been happy if Newcastle had bought him for £20m, rather than another loan.

He looks very much overweight and very definitely couldn’t give a…damn.

He strolled around, tried to make sure he wasn’t in a position to get a pass, then the odd time when he did get the ball, Kenedy took no responsibility and just tried flicks and first time passes, rather than trying to make something happen.

Going down after a tackle in the second-half, it was obvious Kenedy was desperate to get off the pitch.

My personal/only highlight of this game was that instead, Rafa Benitez took the (always) hard-working Matt Ritchie off and made Kenedy go to left wing-back and play the whole 90+ minutes.

This joker will never make it in the Premier League and needs to have a long hard look at himself.

To be honest, it was very similar in the third round against Blackburn three weeks ago, Kenedy simply not interested.
