DeAndre Yedlin completes Newcastle United internationals at 3am Wednesday morning – Full list of results

DeAndre Yedlin once again completed the international match schedule for Newcastle’s players.
Just before 3am UK time, the NUFC defender came on for the final six minutes in East Hartford Connecticut, as the USA played out a 1-1 draw with Peru at the home of the University of Connecticut Huskies.
He now has to make his way back to Tyneside ahead of Newcastle’s crunch game with Brighton.
It all seems a little pointless to keep him in the States for a handful of minutes of a friendly, especially when Saturday is so important for NUFC.
The last international break was the same, Yedlin playing the final five minutes of a 1-0 friendly victory over Mexico, the game completed around 3,30am UK time on the Wednesday morning before Newcastle took on Arsenal three days later, the Magpies losing that game 2-1.
Ki Sung-yeung the other player to face a long return trip, playing the full match on Tuesday as South Korea threw away a two goal advantage against Panama, ending in a 2-2 draw.
Martin Dubravka having a far shorter trip back home after helping Slovakia to a decent 1-1 draw in Sweden yesterday.
The list of Newcastle players and their international matches/results below:
