The League Two manager giving a great insight into Rafa’s man-management
Harry Kewell:
“I’ve definitely taken my own style in what I want to see in terms of the football, but I have also taken dribs and drabs from others I’ve played for.
“Rafa Benitez is one for example.
“He was the master of you walking into his office thinking…I know this is what I am going to say…and you’d walk out agreeing to everything he said.
“How does that work?
“I’d gone in there and asked for this, then agreed to do that.
“You’d be like what?
“But I am their boss and it’s my way or the highway.
“Rafa Benitez was fantastic, but he’d say do this and I’d say but what about this way, and he’d respond – ‘fantastic but this is what I want you to do.’”
