Fans choice of Newcastle team v Chelsea on Sunday
We asked fans the question, which 11 players would you pick in your Newcastle team v Chelsea?
We put together a list of the 21 players who could potentially be selected for this 4pm Sunday afternoon kick-off.
Newcastle not having lost at home to Chelsea since 2011.
This time Rafa Benitez is without:
Isaac Hayden suspended.
Kenedy ineligible.
Florian Lejeune injured.
Some very strong choices, Martin Dubravka (97%), Jamaal Lascelles (99%), and Paul Dummett (94%) all seen as automatic selections. Whilst the (expected to return) DeAndre Yedlin (83%) is also seen as a no-brainer.
However, in the absence of Florian Lejeune, no decisive choice to partner Lascelles.
Ciaran Clark (52%) getting the support of just over half the voting fans to start, whilst Fernandez has 37% support and Schar 23% to be in the team.
As per last week Salomon Rondon (98%) is the overwhelming choice to start, Joselu a feeble 3% support to be in the team.
Yoshinori Muto (73%) is also a strong choice, with Ayoze Perez getting 42% and Ki Sung-Yueng havingĀ 43% backing to get a game.
With Kenedy ineligible, Jacob Murphy (44%) just sneaks in as 11th choice, though with less than half the fans voting for him, a less than overwhelming choice.
So this is the fans choice team:
