Newcastle United have announced that tickets will go on general sale this (Wednesday 12 July) morning for the pre-season friendlies at Preston, Bradford and Mainz.

From 10am all fans can buy the friendly tickets with a maximum of four per person for Bradford & Preston, whilst Mainz is one per person.

Before that trio of games though, Newcastle travel to Hearts on Friday for a 7.45pm kick-off and all 1,300 away tickets have been sold.

Following that game, fan website nufc.com have revealed that the Newcastle squad will then fly off for a pre-season training camp at Carton House in Co Kildare.

Rafa Benitez and his squad used the same base last summer and finished it off with a match against Bohemians, however, this time they will instead travel back to the UK and play Preston a week on Saturday.

Carton House was also used by Newcastle back in 2010, after the last promotion, Chris Hughton taking his squad to Ireland before a season which started with a 6-0 home win over Aston Villa (after losing 3-0 at Old Trafford).

Hearts:

Newcastle travel to Hearts in three days time (Friday 14 July) for a 7.45pm kick-off.

All 1,300 away tickets have been snapped up.

Preston:

Preston v Newcastle is on Saturday 22 July with a 3pm kick-off. Tickets go on general sale from 10am on Wednesday morning (12 July), with a maximum of four per person.

Prices are £10 for adults, £5 OAPs/youths, and £1 for juniors.

Bradford:

Four days later it is Bradford v Newcastle on Wednesday 26 July with a 7.30pm kick-off. Tickets go on general sale from 10am on Wednesday morning (12 July), with a maximum of four per person.

Ticket prices are £10 for adults and £5 OAPs/juniors.

Mainz

Newcastle fans have an initial allocation of 1,500 tickets and prices are £13 for a seat and £9 standing, with no concessions.

This game is on Saturday 29 July and tickets go on general sale from 10am on Wednesday morning (12 July), with a maximum of one per person.

Wolfsburg

The second match in Germany sees Newcastle taking on Wolfsburg at the 5,200 capacity AOK Stadion (where their women’s and junior teams play), next to their Volkswagen Arena home ground.

The game is on 2 August with a local 4pm (3pm UK time) kick-off time, just under 400 tickets allocated to Newcastle fans and these are £9 for a seat and £7 for standing. Tickets appear to be on sale only to season ticket holders (no loyalty points needed) in the first instance.
