Bright Osayi-Samuel is the latest player to be linked with a summer move to Newcastle United.

The young winger being watched by scouts from both Aston Villa and Newcastle according to reports from the West Midlands and in The Sun.

The 19 year old was born in Nigeria before his family moved to Spain, then eventually England when he was aged 10.

Picked up by Blackpool’s Academy he has come through the ranks and despite only turning 19 in December, he has made almost 70 appearances for the now League One club.

In their recent chaotic past, Bright Osayi-Samuel has already played in the Championship, League One and League Two with Blackpool.

A raw talent he has now added goals this season and scored five in 13 starts and 19 sub appearances.

A winger who can play on either flank, he has also played through the middle recently for Blackpool.

Often beating his man at will with pace and tricks, the end product is something that the League Two club’s coaches have been working on.

Obviously not one for the immediate future if Newcastle follow up their interest but Rafa Benitez has already shown a determination to recruit a lot of younger players, as he attempts to turn Newcastle around at every level.
