the weak areas in the team are there for all to see, Anita, Colback,Diame, & Gouffran. yet we`ll still win because of the class in Jonjo, Mat & Dwight

      Hope you’re right NutJob!
Too many weak areas for my liking.

      • Damon Horner

        Weak compared to Wigan?

        • magpiefifer

No,just weaker than we might be!

          • Andy Mac

The No 10 role is up for grabs as no one in the squad can handle it and Colback shouldnt be anywhere near the first XI

  • Andy Mac

“Newcastle 0-0 Wigan Wigan have started relatively well at St James’ Park, as Jamaal Lascelles does well to stop the Latics’ Michael Jacobs getting in on
goal. The early exchanges are being carried out in the hosts’ half”

    Why does this happen ?

    • Jezza

      1-1 now. What a shambles.

  • Andy Mac

Why the F are we playing “hit them on the break” football at home to a team 2nd from bottom ? I just cannot get my head around this at all !

  • Damon Horner

3 points clear at the top to the live league and this site still had lots of tears and obsessing over bad moments. Mad.

    • Andy Mac

We’re playing at home to the team 2nd from bottom yet we’re waiting to hit them on the break ? Just prior to Ritchie’s goal they had a free header from six yards out ! That’s what’s mad !

      • Damon Horner

Keegan days are long gone mate. This is Rafa, this is how he plays, you’ll be irritated for a long time if you can’t adapt.

        • Andy Mac

I’m well aware that Rafa is wedded to one up front but I’m also aware we’ve torn teams apart this season with that solitary striker. However yesterday we were at home to Wigan not Barca or Real Madrid.

Most of the players have just had two weeks off from playing competitive football yet yesterday we allowed Wigan the freedom to move and attack in the first half and almost claw their way back into the game in the second.

Why on earth cant we press high up the pitch at home with pace and width and let the opposition worry about us for a change ?

  • Andy Mac

They say a win is a win but there surely has to be a better way to play at home ? Unless Rafa thinks his squad is so knackered that there’s only one way we can play now ?

we wont last 5mins in the prem with that lot
