Classic! Neil Warnock gives Newcastle no credit and blames referee for Cardiff’s defeat

Not the biggest shock in the world that Neil Warnock has blamed the referee rather than praising Newcastle United, after defeat on Friday night.

The Cardiff boss says that there was nothing wrong with the ‘goal’ scored by Sean Morrison.

Christian Atsu won a free-kick and scored a beautiful goal when taking it himself…but Neil Warnock says the free-lick should never have been given.

As for Mitrovic, Warnock says he continually fouled when coming on as a sub but got away with it.

Summing up referee Graham Scott’s performance, the Cardiff Manager he was ‘poor in general with his positioning and interpretation’.

Not content with blaming just Friday night’s referee, Warnock also blames former ref Mike Riley for allegedly teaching Graham Scott these bad habits.

Classic! It actually adds to the result that the idiot doesn’t want to give Newcastle any credit at all!!

Neil Warnock:

“I thought we had some good chances and finishing those is what you pay for, I’m trying to get more goals in the team, that’s what I’m looking for in the summer.

“I thought we were a bit unlucky, I didn’t see anything wrong with Morrison’s header, it’s a very soft foul.

“If you look at the free-kick he gave for their first goal, it’s a nothing free-kick. We have to start educating players what to do when you get a referee like that.

“I thought ‘Scotty’ (the referee Graham Scott) had a bad game today, he was poor in general with his positioning and interpretation.

Mitrovic came on and never looked at the ball once, he fouled Morrison three-times and he didn’t see it – why? Because he’s not educated.

“There is no wonder, if Mike Riley’s his tutor, no wonder.”
