Wednesday has seen confirmation that the Newcastle v Leeds match has now completely sold out.

With the Yorkshire club taking the full away allocation, Newcastle have announced that now all tickets in the home sections have completely gone.

This is with the game still over three weeks away and despite the match been moved to a Friday night and to be shown live on Sky Sports.

Newcastle v Leeds is a 7.45pm kick-off on Friday 14 April and is one of three confirmed NUFC games that will be broadcast live.

This leaves only one (last game of the season everybody plays at noon on Sunday 7 May) match still to be confirmed in terms of dates/times – that being the Cardiff away game.

Well I am pleased to see that Disgus is now controlling the site comments. The Chronicle used this system for a while and it was a good set up.

So here we are – another sell out despite, being in the Championship. And yet, the current ‘custodians’ controlling the club sell off land for student accommodation rendering expansion near impossible. And moreover, such blight on the landscape will only serve to block out the great sight that is St James.

Destroying the club in every aspect

But that’s not true, is it?

  • Leazesl Ender

The biggest thing to happen to our club and hardly a mention….. the planning committee of the City council approve of the boxing in of United by its owner…. and they don’t care! Well done you blo*dy traitors!

    • Grahame Johnson

The council get their share and look after the golden postcode of ne1, shame on them.

    • It’s bobbi fleckman

Of corse that would be all very well if it were true.

  • Albert Stubbins

    5-2 again would do nicely!!!

Leeds fans will be like our away support…deafening, may it awake the deaf home hordes at St James Park so we can have an atmosphere for once from us home fans.
