On Monday morning a list of the wages each Newcastle player ‘receives’ was published.

A national newspaper giving the lowdown on the various wages as shown on Football Manager.

Exactly what information and estimating that’s used is open to question.

These are the weekly wages as used by Football Manager:

£70,000 Shelvey

£60,000 Mitrovic

£45,000 Perez, Diame

£40,000 Gayle

£35,000 Colback, Sels, Gouffran, Gamez, Anita

£30,000 Clark, Hanley, Mbemba, Ritchie

£25,000 Elliot, Murphy

£20,000 Haidara, Yedlin, Dummett, Ameobi

£15,000 Vuckic, Lazaar, Darlow, Lascelles

£12,000 Good

£10,000 Atsu, Hayden, Aarons

Interesting to speculate on exactly who gets what but I think it is pretty safe to assume that Sammy Ameobi doesn’t get paid twice as much as Christian Atsu!

Similarly, I doubt very much that Haris Vuckic is picking up the same money as Lascelles, Darlow and Lazaar.

What about when it comes to the wages each player deserves, who would be your top paid players?

Starting at the top I think my list of deserved top earners would be Clark, Shelvey, Gayle, Darlow, Ritchie, Yedlin…

That’s why I think Rafa will be gone. He wants to compete, the parasite will never allow it.

We had someone on here in the last couple of days trying to say Newcastle were the 8th highest wage payers in England. Ha ha I wonder where some of the people on here get their info. The cancerous owner will never pay top wages. He thinks Arsenal are the model, but I would put money on them being in the top 6 payers still.
