Huddersfield 1 Newcastle 3 – Saturday 4 March 2017 5.30pm

Another compelling match, this one sending United five points clear at the top and now 11 ahead of third placed Huddersfield.

Despite the possession stats, this was a game where Newcastle were very much in control.

Rafa Benitez organising his team superbly and offering at least as much real threat as the home side.

Most of their efforts being from distance and Karl Darlow comfortably dealing with everything, apart from the dodgy penalty the ref awarded, seemingly in an effort to ‘even’ things up.

Judge for yourself the ‘controversial’ incidents/goals but most of all enjoy…

One thing to especially look out for, Daryl Murphy’s roar after his goal, the pitchside microphones picking it up loud and clear.
