Newcastle v Bristol City is heading for a sellout.
Saturday’s game is set to see the latest capacity crowd at St James Park this season.
Tuesday morning saw Bristol City confirm they had only 200 tickets of their allocation left to sell, with 2,600 already snapped up.
The West Country club could have taken another 300 tickets but have now confirmed they won’t be now taking up that option.
A look at the stadium plan on the NUFC ticket website, shows that there are only a handful of single tickets left for sale around the ground, with the exception being a small number together in Level 7 at the Leazes End, presumably the extra allocation that Bristol City passed on.
With Aston Villa failing to sell around fifteen hundred of their potential full allocation, it contributed to an attendance of 50, 024, so it will be great to see what looks sure to be a full house on Saturday.
Bristol City Official Update:
‘Tickets for City’s visit to Newcastle United on Saturday week (February 25th, 3pm) are now on general sale.
There will be no pay on the day option for City supporters at Newcastle United on Saturday (February 25th, 3pm).
Just 200 tickets remain available for purchase from the overall allocation of 2,800, with general sale continuing.
The club will not be taking the further allocation of 300 tickets, given the proximity to the game.
Fans wishing to make the trip to the current Sky Bet Championship leaders must purchase a ticket by 2pm on Friday. ‘
