Using our interactive feature, NUFC team selector, supporters have chosen their Newcastle team v Birmingham.
The collective formation chosen was 4-4-2 with fans clearly going for more or less the strongest possible team, without taking the Championship game on Saturday against Rotherham into consideration.
The only strong exceptions to that being: fans accepting that Grant Hanley looks sure to come in and replace one of the first choice defenders – with Lascelles the one rested in fans’ eyes.
Meanwhile, the same in goal, with Rob Elliot getting the nod ahead of Matz Sels, with Karl Darlow also given a shift off.
