Tickets are now back on sale for the Brentford v Newcastle match.
This is on the back of the ridiculous decision to leave the date/timing of the match resting on whether either team had an FA Cup replay.
Tickets were originally sold with a kick-off time of 7.45pm on Monday 16 January so it could be shown live on TV, only for the date to be moved forward by two days (to the very original scheduled date) when Newcastle drew at Birmingham.
Supporters only then having seven days notice of the change and no doubt meaning a number of fans couldn’t go to the new/rearranged date.
So a limited number of away tickets are now back on sale to Newcastle United season ticket holders with 40 loyalty points.
Newcastle were allocated 1,660 tickets in the Brook Road Stand and this holds roughly 600 seats and the rest standing.
Ticket prices are £30 for adult seating or £25 for adult standing, £24 for senior (65 and over) seating or £19 for standing, £22 for young person (18 to 24) seating or £17 for standing and £8 for under-18s, whether sitting or standing.
Tickets can be purchased online, by calling 0844 372 1892 (calls cost 7p per minute plus network access charge) or in person from the St. James’ Park Box Office.
Rafa Benitez will be hoping that Brentford’s star man Scott Hogan is sold to West Ham before Saturday.
