Picking their official EFL Team of Midweek, yet another Newcastle player has been included, this time for his performance against Wigan.

Running from the halfway line and then playing a smart one-two with Isaac Hayden, Mohamed Diame capped a very good performance with the vital opening goal.

Picked by Newcastle fans as man of the match in The Mag’s interactive player ratings, the midfielder built on an excellent all-round display against Birmingham last weekend.
