Ticket sales update for Newcastle v Ipswich – Over 350,000 fans in first 7 matches
The club have just given an update on ticket sales for Newcastle v Ipswich this afternoon.
Newcastle United have revealed that ticket sales have passed 51,000 and only a handful of tickets remain for the match, with the help of Ipswich who are bringing almost three thousand supporters to St James Park today.
A total of 301,722 have attended the six Championship home games so far (see breakdown below), at an average of 50,287.
The latest news means that it is guaranteed that after this Newcastle v Ipswich match, over 351,000 fans will have paid to see the seven Championship games.
The club announcement means that the Championship average at St James Park will once again stay in excess of 50,000.
