It is fair to say that Newcastle away fans have been enjoyed themselves a little bit more so far this season, than they did in that final Premier League season before the drop.

With four wins (plus a defeat and a draw) already on their travels, it didn’t take much to exceed last season’s win total of two (Bournemouth and Spurs if you were struggling).

So far Newcastle away fans have taken every single ticket offered, plus a fair few going undercover amongst the home fans.

Today the club have confirmed that all 5,500 tickets are now gone for the trip to Barnsley, with the last 800 being snapped up straight away after going on sale to the general public.

Newcastle United also confirming that Preston away is now nearing a 5,600 sell-out, with the dwindling supply currently on sale to season ticket holders.

This means that by the end of October, Newcastle away fans will have taken all 32,193 tickets officially available (including in the neutral section at Fulham).

Important to note as well that these include a Friday night (Fulham) and Tuesday night (QPR) in London, as well as a Tuesday night at Barnsley.

Remarkable.
