Adam Armstrong adds yet another goal to his England collection – Watch it here
Adam Armstrong has added yet another goal to his ever growing England collection.
Wednesday saw the first game of a four team tournament as the Geordie striker lined up against Holland.
The England Under 20s took an early lead through Manchester City’s Patrick Roberts, then on 13 minutes Adam Armstrong sprung the offside trap and doubled the lead (Watch his goal below), 2-0 being the eventual result.
The game was played at Oldham Athletic’s S*****D*****.com Park (a reminder of the horrors Mike Ashley visited upon Newcastle fans and St James Park).
Another great piece of news on top of the Adam Armstrong goal, was Newcastle winger Callum Roberts making his first appearance for the England Under 20s, coming off the bench for the final 15 minutes.
England Under 20s now play Germany on Friday and the USA on Monday.
