Jonjo Shelvey nominated on Tuesday for the Championship PFA Player of the Month award.

A series of excellent performances have seen Jonjo Shelvey at the heart of everything positive that Newcastle have produced in recent weeks.

The midfielder creating and scoring goals, including that stunner at Loftus Road in the 6-0 demolition of QPR.

Yesterday, Sky Sports  announced the nominations for each division and these are the six for the Championship award:

Aaron Mooy (Huddersfield Town)

Conor Hourihane (Barnsley)

Jacob Murphy (Norwich City)

Jonjo Shelvey (Newcastle United)

Scott Hogan (Brentford)

Tammy Abraham (Bristol City)

You only have until early tomorrow morning at the latest, to place your vote, with the result announced at 10am on Thursday.

Sadio Mane of Liverpool picked up the Premier League award today.

The panel which picked the six nominations includes Sky Sports football pundits Paul Merson, Ian Holloway and Peter Beagrie.
