The Sam Allardyce era as England Manager is over!
Sky Sports have now confirmed on Wednesday evening that the FA have acted quickly to end his reign.
The official FA statement says that the decision was by ‘mutual agreement’ but when interviewed, FA Chairman Greg Clarke confirmed that Allardyce had been ‘mutually’ sacked, saying that by his actions Sam Allardyce had made his position untenable,
The arrogant oaf can now brag that he is England’s most successful ever manager, having won 100% of his matches!

The Telegraph revealed late on Tuesday night that they had caught the former Newcastle boss on camera, making comments that made his position surely untenable with the national team.
Secretly filmed by the newspaper, Sam Allardyce is claimed to have used his position as England manager to negotiate a £400,000 deal, offering advice to businessmen on how to circumnavigate FA rules on player transfers.
This basically involved advising the men pretending to be Far East businessmen, how to get around the FA rules which try to prevent third parties ‘owning’ players.
Their first secretly filmed meeting with Sam Allardyce was after he’d already started his £3m a year plus bonuses contract with the FA, though at that point he hadn’t even met up yet with the England squad for a training session.
Ironic that after getting his dream job (despite having no obvious qualities to be able to do it), that it is Fat Sam’s greed which takes it away from him so soon.
Newcastle fans knew what a ridiculous appointment the FA had made, whilst I guess despite keeping them up last season, Sunderland fans also worked out that Allardyce couldn’t be trusted after he messed them about all summer before jumping ship – leaving the club in a right mess.
Ironically, the other stuff the Telegraph have is pretty much what everybody would agree with.
Amongst the gossip they got him to spill, Sam Allardyce made a joke at Roy Hodgson’s expense, said that the FA were all about trying to make as much money as possible, and that Wembley was stupidly too expensive and should have been built elsewhere.
Sam Allardyce as reported by The Telegraph:
On Roy Hodgson as a public speaker:
“He’d send them all to sleep, Roy. Woy. He hasn’t got the personality for it.”
On Wembley Stadium:
“They (FA) stupidly spent £870 million on Wembley, so they’re still paying that debt off. They completely rebuilt it. If they’d built it anywhere else, it would have cost about £400 million. They completely floored it and then rebuilt the new stadium which is fabulous, but that sort of debt is not really what you want. Most of the money the FA make[s] will go to the interest on the debt.”
On the Football Association:
“They’re all about making money aren’t they? You know the FA’s the richest football association in the world? Well, I shouldn’t say that. They’re not the richest at all. What they do is they have the biggest turnover in the world with £325 million.”
Knowing Sam Allardyce’s usual luck, he will end up with a £10m pay-off from the FA and walk into a Premier League job with Stoke or Sunderland(!) the next day.
