Rotherham United have published an ‘exit strategy’ for Saturday’s match.

The Yorkshire club warn both home and away fans that at the end of the game the two sets of supporters will be kept apart as they leave the stadium.

For up to 20 minutes after the final whistle, fans can only go head off in the designated routes.

The game sold out on Monday, with all 2,500 away tickets having already been snapped up.

Careful if you go to the match and check where you park up,as you could have a bit of a detour after the game.

Rotherham went down 2-1 at Huddersfield on Tuesday night and are now rock bottom of the Championship.

Meanwhile, a win for Newcastle against Norwich would see United climb six places into third, a point behind the Canaries and three behind new leaders Huddersfield.

Rotherham United official announcement:

‘Rotherham United have again drawn up plans in conjunction with South Yorkshire Police to try and facilitate the safest possible exit strategy from the ground for all supporters leaving AESSEAL New York Stadium after the game with Newcastle United.

At the end of the game against Newcastle, home fans will be directed towards Don Street whilst away supporters will exit via New York Way leading to Main Street.

These restrictions are anticipated to be in place for up to 20 minutes after the final whistle has blown.

We would like to thank all supporters for their co-operation and hope everyone enjoys the game.’
