Rafa Benitez has been speaking on Tuesday lunchtime at his Norwich press conference.

In his press conference, Rafa Benitez said that on the injury front, Jack Colback would be available but he would wait until Wednesday to see if DeAndre Yedlin had recovered from his ankle injury.

Whilst accepting that Wednesday’s game against table toppers Norwich City is important, Rafa says that it important to realise that ‘we can’t win the title tomorrow’.

As always the message from the United boss is to ‘stay calm, concentrate, do our jobs properly.

Whilst Norwich were lucky in being able to keep the core of their squad of players, many of them experienced in the Championship as well, Rafa Benitez had to take on wholesale change this summer.

After his man of the match display at Villa, Rafa says about Yedlin that they always ‘knew about his potential’.

Rafa Benitez:

“It’s important for both teams, but we have a lot of games to play – we can’t win the title tomorrow.

“We have to stay calm, concentrate, do our jobs properly and keep winning games.

“There is room for improvement. It is a question of doing things in the right way.

Yedlin is doing well in the training sessions – he’s working hard. We knew about his potential.

“If we can improve our game a bit, we will have more chances to win. We have to be ready.

“The most difficult thing is to score goals. You have to take your chances

“Norwich are a good team. Their offensive players are good, they have pace and experience. We have to do well if we want to win.”
