The Newcastle v Bristol City player ratings as voted by United fans.
Newcastle’s first away win of the season and second Championship victory in a row.
What did the Newcastle supporters make of each player on the pitch?
Below are the ratings as voted by Newcastle fans up to 12 noon on Sunday.
For the first time this season, it wasn’t Matt Ritchie picking up the man of the match award, instead that honour fell to match winner Dwight Gayle with a score of 7.7 out of 10 from the supporters.
The supporting cast saw six of the starting 11 with a mark of 6.0 or better, the best of those being Chancel Mbemba (6.9) who was excellent at the heart of the defence.
Next up was Matt Ritchie (6.5) edging second, with Mohamed Diame (6.5) matching that mark, followed by Isaac Hayden (6.4), Yoan Gouffran (6.3) and Vurnon Anita (6.0).
Returning Jamaal Lascelles scored only 5.7, whilst the three who were really seen to struggle being Matz Sels (3.8) who continues to look nervy despite a clean sheet, Ciaran Clark (5.0) who looks no more the answer to the left-back problem than Paul Dummett does, and Jack Colback (5.1) who struggled to impose himself.
