Over the years we have had our fair share of good and bad players and at times some brilliant ones – Alan Shearer would be top of that final list.

His loyalty to his boyhood club in which he gave us everything for years, even retiring from international football so as to prolong his club career as long as possible.

I remember as a kid that loyalty figured a lot more in club football and Shearer was probably part of that dying breed.

On the other hand…in Moussa Sissoko, out of all the players we have had in my time supporting, this bloke has annoyed me more than anybody else.

We hear in the press, social media etc of his flashes of brilliance.

Nothing, and I mean nothing, is brilliant about him. He’s like the workmate who everyone can’t stand.

A player who runs in straight lines with no end product.

His record for club and country is shocking and yet the media big him up to be a world beater. Well please continue because the better chance we have of getting rid of the bad apple. Shame his ‘beautiful Arsenal’ haven’t come calling.

In this time of big changes at our club, there is this one thing that has lingered on in the background, dragging on throughout the summer.

Micky Quinn said;

“I wouldn’t lose any sleep if Sissoko was still at Newcastle come September.”

Would you change your opinion Micky if you were one of the other players in that dressing room willing to bust a gut for the club???

We don’t need any distractions at the club. I hope he is gone before we kick off at Fulham.

We can’t get him to graft week in week out in the Premier League so what chance the Championship?

Answers on the back of a stamp please.
