The Newcastle match ratings v Fulham.

Jonathan covered the match at Fulham on Friday for us and you can read his full analysis of the game when it goes up this (Monday) lunchtime.

Here also are his Newcastle match ratings v Fulham for each NUFC player and what they ‘contributed’.

Matz Sels – 6. Not been impressed with him in any of his performances so far and I think Darlow can find himself unfortunate to be on the bench.

Daryl Janmaat – 6. Same old, looked ok going forward but never good at the back.

Grant Hanley – 3. Couldn’t pass the ball to save his life, a nightmare debut.

Jamaal Lascelles – 4. Completely at fault for their goal.

Paul Dummett – 2. Not good enough, never has been good enough, so why is he good enough now?

Jack Colback – 2. Perhaps a spell on the bench will provide him with a much needed wake up call?

Isaac Hayden – 7. Probably our best player on Friday, looked calm and assured.

Vurnon Anita – 4. Another one who has never been good enough since he joined, so why is he good enough now?

Matt Ritchie – 7. Looked like he would create chances.

Ayoze Perez – 2. Did nothing. Literally, nothing.

Dwight Gayle – 4. Tried but ultimately didn’t look like being a threat.

Rolando Aarons 6 – Ran about but needs to be given a couple of starts to be able to prove himself.

Adam Armstrong – 6 – Did more in 20 minutes than Perez did in 70.

Jonjo Shelvey – 6 – I would worry about his future at the club.
