Moussa Sissoko will soon have his transfer situation sorted very shortly.
That is the professional opinion of Didier Deschamps and no doubt he has also been made aware by the player as to exactly what is happening with his club career.
Deschamps has named his latest squad on Thursday lunchtime, with France set to face Italy away on Thursday 1 September in a friendly, then Belarus away in a World Cup qualifier on Tuesday 6 September.
Both games of course coming after the closure of the transfer window at the end of the month.
The French national boss has named Moussa Sissoko in that squad and said at his press conference: ‘he has always been an important player’ for his country.
Having previously said he wouldn’t select players who weren’t getting regular club football, obviously this football free start to the season for Sissoko hasn’t put Didier Deschamps off.
Didier Deschamps talking about the Moussa Sissoko situation:
“His (Moussa Sissoko) transfer situation should be solved very soon, he has always been an important player for us.”
