Moussa Sissoko now confirms that he has signed for Tottenham.
The Moussa Sissoko circus comes to an end, after almost three months (or is it three years?) of trying to leave Newcastle United he has got his dream move, or maybe not!
With a few hours remaining of the transfer window, Sky Sports reported that Sissoko was set to join Everton after the scousers agreed a £30m deal with Newcastle.
However, Sky then reported that Tottenham had matched that £30m offer.
That closely followed with RMC in France reporting that Moussa Sissoko had indeed now signed for Spurs on a five year deal.
Earlier on Wednesday, The Telegraph said that their inside source at Newcastle had told them that the club were prepared to take a £30m fee in up to five instalments to help a deal happen.
However, all that is important is that Newcastle have now seen the back of their superstar…
