We will really know that there is nothing you can rely on in this world, if Moussa Sissoko somehow ends up at Real Madrid.
With Fat Sam unveiled as England Manager on Friday afternoon and the country still reeling after the EU chaos and subsequent shambles within the leading political parties, is this really the end of society as we know it?
Could Real Madrid really be willing to take on Moussa Sissoko after two and a half decent performances at this summer’s Euros?
A club that can call on Ronaldo, Modric, Bale, Rodriguez, Kroos and Ramos?
The speculation has taken on a life of its own since publication ‘Sport’ over in Spain, ran a small piece on Friday morning claiming the La Liga runners up were interested in (one goal last season) Moussa Sissoko.
Whilst other media have built on the story, there doesn’t appear to be any other new information apart from that claimed by ‘Sport’.
They claim that after losing out to Barcelona for the signature of Portuguese midfielder Andre Gomes, Real Madrid President Florentino Perez has decided that Moussa Sissoko is the ideal person to make up for that disappointment, with Manager Zinedine Zidane allegedly in full agreement.
Whilst this is the very short concentration time generation, hard to believe that Real Madrid who can attract almost any player in the world (apart from Andre Gomes…) are going to sign Sissoko after a couple of better displays (still didn’t create any goals or score) – when he has been so woeful at Newcastle for around 90% of the time over the last few years at Newcastle?
It will be outrageously funny (and annoying in equal measures) if Real Madrid do sign him.
However, reality tells me this is just the latest bit of unfounded transfer speculation that has been cut and pasted countless times and Moussa Sissoko will find an alternative new home more suited to his talents.
