It has been revealed that a fourth statue to Sir Bobby Robson is set to be unveiled.

There are already statues to the football legend at both St James Park and Portman Road where he managed both clubs so successfully.

There is also another in the museum at FC Porto where he also made such an impact, just one of the clubs where he is also fondly remembered overseas.

This fourth Sir Bobby Robson tribute will be in a slightly different setting, at a golf course…

Sir Bobby spent many happy days at Vila Sol, Vilamoura, and his legacy also continues there, with an annual charity golf tournament carrying his name, having already raised 842,000 euros for good causes.

According to Portugal News, Lady Elsie Robson will unveil the statue at a special ceremony in the Algarve, with the statue featuring her late husband sitting on a bench overlooking the golf course where he spent so many happy times.
