Over in Belgum, Het Nieuwsblad have now confirmed that the Newcastle United medical went through without a problem and a fee of 6m euros (approx £4.9m) has been agreed, the player signing on until summer 2021.
Het Nieuwsblad report that the 6m euros will be the biggest fee Gent have ever received when selling a player and that they already have a replacement lined up.
