Late Thursday afternoon has seen reports from France that David Ginola has suffered a heart attack.
The 49 year old former Newcastle star was taking part in the Mapauto Golf Cup when he was believed to have had a cardiac arrest.
GFFN say that Nice Matin have reported that the golf tournament in Mandelieu, near Nice, was brought to a halt and that David Ginola was intubated and given oxygen.
A medical helicopter is then said to have arrived and the former football player was airlifted to Centre Hospitalier Princesse-Grace de Monaco.
The latest update given by GFFN was at 5.10pm (UK time) and according to Nice Matin reporter Grégory Le Clerc, David Ginola had arrived at the hospital in Monaco and is being taken to a special ward that deals with heart complications.

*** At 5.36pm (UK time), L’Equipe have claimed that Ginola is undergoing a number of tests but his condition is not believed to be heart-related.
**** Thursday night has brought reports that it was actually heatstroke that saw Ginola rushed to hospital and he is now recovering.
