He may have taken Newcastle United (Mike Ashley!) to a disability discrimination tribunal due to his appalling treatment but Jonas Gutierrez still lives every minute as a Newcastle fan.

Following Newcastle’s match against Norwich, Jonas lived every moment just like us.

United were never ahead but came back twice to equalise, leading Jonas Gutierrez to believe that a positive result was possible.

The final 3-2 scoreline left Jonas gutted but urging Newcastle fans that they can still believe,  despite Norwich going six points clear.

Jonas Gutierrez urges all Newcastle fans to still ‘believe’ – let’s hope he is right.

Jonas Gutierrez via Twitter:

“Vamos newcastle hoy, partido vital para la permanencia. Come on Newcastle, important game for survival. Always a geordie. Siempre Geordie.

“Yesssss one more (after making it 1-1).

“Losing again not possible. Come on Newcastle (going 2-1 down).

“Yesssssss important goal (Mitrovic makes it 2-2).

“I can’t believe the result, no way to lost after scored on the 86 (minute), 7 games to go I believe and we can. We r NEWCASTLE.

“One tweet for The Newcastle fans. Still believe. I came from Cancer because I believe, so we can stay up if we believe. Come Geordie nation.

“What the players need at the moment is support. We still fighting. Come on Newcastle.”
