Injuries for Manchester City ahead of Newcastle but not the right one!

Manchester City have a few injury problems ahead of the trip to Newcastle on Tuesday.

Gael Clichy will definitely miss and Nasri limped off against Chelsea on Saturday, looking as if he will definitely struggle to make the game as well.

Silva, Sterling and Kompany didn’t play in the 3-0 win at Stamford Bridge and are doubts once again for the St James Park clash.

Sergio Aguero was subbed late on but sadly he is one player who will not be missing.

His latest hat-trick puts him on 21 goals in 26 Premier League games this season and with a phenomenal record of 99 in 146 PL matches.

In his five seasons at Man City, Sergio Aguero has failed to score in only two league appearances against Newcastle.

The Argentine striker has netted 10 goals against Newcastle already and it will be some achievement if Newcastle can keep another clean sheet with the in-form striker visiting.

As well as defeating PSG in the Champions League quarter finals, Manchester City already have three PL wins in April, scoring nine goals in that trio of games and Sergio Aguero scoring five of them.

This season’s first clash between the two clubs was one of real contrasts, a great first half saw Newcastle the better team and leading through a Mitrovic goal before five goals in 20 minutes from Sergio Aguero demolished United.

Here’s hoping for more of that first half form on Tuesday night and Aguero to stay stuck on ‘only’ 99 Premier League goals.
