Harry Redknapp has surprisingly chosen a Newcastle player in his Premier League team of the week.

Not surprisingly, three of Leicester City’s players make the team, whilst other outstanding individuals such as Harry Kane are included, the Spurs striker scoring a fantastic goal against Liverpool.

Step forward Aleksandar Mitrovic, the Serbian striker was only on the pitch for the final 28 minutes but scored twice and gave Newcastle a lifeline twice – which they didn’t deserve.

Atrocious defending assisting Norwich to their three goals.

The Canaries are represented by Martin Olsson who scored that winner, as well as Alex Neil being chosen by Harry Redknapp as his manager of the weekend – with seven points from the last nine making Norwich strong favourites to survive now.

Newcastle fans are though indebted to Ben Foster, Redknapp including the Baggies keeper after his clean sheet prevented Sunderland further isolating Newcastle at the bottom alongside Aston Villa.
